Come attend our Board Meeting!
Did you know that all library board meetings are open to the public? They meet the second Thursday of every month, with this month's meeting being Thursday, September 14th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. The door will open to the public around 6:30pm. Come see how your library board operates!

Canine Book Nook

Reading to dogs can boost reading skills and self-confidence in children as well as help with emotional and social skills. Many children are self-conscious and hesitant when reading out loud, but when they read stories to a dog they are less stressed and actually find it enjoyable! Joan O'Neill, a volunteer with Therapy Dogs International along with Lucy, her canine reading partner, are available for 15 minute reading sessions in the Children's Room. Lucy is a good listener! So bring along your favorite book and share a story with a furry friend.

This month Lucy is coming on September 14th & 28th, which are the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.
